Baga Beach sits at the northern end of the Calangute stretch in Bardez and is the centre of North Goa's nightlife. The beach ends at the Baga Creek, where a small river meets the sea under a rocky headland. Just inland, Tito's Lane is the famous strip of clubs and bars, named after Tito's, which opened as a small bar in 1971 and grew into one of Goa's best-known nightclubs. By day the beach is busy with water sports, shacks and sun loungers. By night, beach bars play music and the lanes behind fill with partygoers. Across the creek, the quieter area towards Anjuna offers rocky viewpoints and smaller cafes. The Saturday Night Market at nearby Arpora is a short drive away. Baga is worth the trip for anyone wanting Goa's lively party scene alongside a classic beach.
