Bogmalo Beach

Bogmalo Beach is a small, sheltered bay in Mormugao taluka, close to Goa's Dabolim Airport. The beach is crescent-shaped and backed by green hills, which give it a calm, enclosed feel. Its quiet waters make it suitable for swimming and water sports, and it is a base for scuba diving trips to nearby islands such as Grande Island. A naval air station is located close by, and the Naval Aviation Museum is just up the road. A small fishing community still works from the beach. Shacks serve fresh seafood and drinks with views across the bay. Because of its proximity to the airport, Bogmalo is a convenient first or last stop on a Goa trip. It is worth the trip for a compact, scenic beach with good diving access.
